Where to Get TRT in the Philippines
A neutral directory of TRT providers in the Philippines: telehealth, Metro Manila, Cebu and Clark, plus the questions to ask and the red flags to avoid.
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is available in the Philippines, but it is not on every corner, and the providers that rank highest on Google are not always the ones you want. This page lists the legitimate options we know of, by city and by type, and gives you a short checklist for judging any clinic, including ones we have not listed yet.
The listings are factual, not endorsements. We do not rank providers, and inclusion does not mean we have audited a clinic's care. How we choose and update listings is explained in our editorial policy.
What a proper TRT pathway looks like
Before comparing providers, it helps to know what good care looks like, so you can spot when it is missing. Under the Endocrine Society and AUA guidelines, a doctor should:
- Ask about symptoms such as low energy, low libido, poor erections, low mood and loss of muscle.
- Order two separate early-morning total testosterone tests, on different days, before diagnosing low T. One low reading is not enough, especially after a night shift or a bad week of sleep.
- Check related markers, usually LH, FSH, prolactin, a blood count (hematocrit), PSA and sometimes estradiol, to find the cause and to have a baseline.
- Talk about fertility. TRT suppresses sperm production, which matters if you still want children.
- Explain the forms available in the Philippines and what each involves.
- Book follow-up labs, because monitoring is part of the treatment, not an extra.
If a provider skips the testing and goes straight to a prescription, that is a warning sign, however convenient it feels. Our testosterone test guide explains the full panel, and testosterone test prices compares labs.
Clinic, hospital or telehealth: which fits you?
There are three broad routes to TRT here, and the right one depends on where you live, your budget and how much hand-holding you want.
| Route | Good for | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| Hospital endocrinologist or urologist | Complex cases, other health conditions, HMO coverage of the consult | Longer waits, more trips, less convenient hours |
| Men's health clinic | Convenience, one place for consults, labs and injections | Prices often not published; quality varies by clinic |
| Telehealth plus a local lab | Men outside Metro Manila, busy schedules, already-diagnosed patients | You arrange your own labs; no physical exam unless you go in |
If you have an HMO card through work, check whether it covers a specialist consult and the lab panel. Many cover the consult and some of the labs but not the medicine itself. Ask your HMO coordinator before you book, because it can cut the cost of the first visit considerably.
Telehealth options
Telehealth is the fastest route for most men outside the big clinic clusters, and it suits people with long commutes or rotating BPO shifts. The usual model is an online consult, a lab request you take to a partner or nearby lab, a follow-up call to go over results, and then a prescription filled by a licensed pharmacy.

A few things to know about telehealth in the Philippines:
- There is no dedicated telemedicine law yet. Doctors work under a joint DOH, DILG and PhilHealth administrative order from 2021, so the doctor must still hold a valid PRC licence.
- Under FDA Advisory 2019-154, medicines can only be sold online through FDA-licensed pharmacies. A legitimate service will either dispense through its own licensed pharmacy or give you a prescription to fill at one.
- A lab booking service such as Hati Health is useful for the first panel, but it is not a treatment provider. You still need a doctor to interpret the results.
Metro Manila
Metro Manila has the most choice, from hospital endocrinology departments to men's health clinics. Hospital-based endocrinologists and urologists are often the most thorough option, though waits can be long and you may need to queue at the outpatient department.

Everywhere else
If you live in Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro or a provincial town, we do not yet have a verified provider to list. That does not mean care is unavailable. Two practical routes:
- A hospital endocrinologist or urologist. Most large private hospitals in regional cities have one. Ask the outpatient department for an appointment and say you want your testosterone checked.
- Telehealth plus a local lab. Many telehealth doctors will send a lab request you can take to any accredited lab nearby, then review the results online.
We add a city page only once there is at least one provider we can describe with checked facts.
How to choose a provider
Whatever the setting, these questions separate careful providers from convenient ones. A good clinic will answer them without hesitation.
- Who is the doctor, and what is their licence? You should get a full name and a PRC licence number. Endocrinologists and urologists have the most relevant training.
- Do you test before prescribing? The answer should be yes, with two early-morning readings and a basic panel.
- What forms do you use, and where is the medicine dispensed? It should be a product you can look up on the FDA Philippines verification portal, dispensed by a licensed pharmacy or the clinic's own licensed dispensary.
- What does monitoring involve, and what does it cost? Ask which labs they repeat, how often, and whether lab fees are included. The drug is often the cheapest part; consults and labs are where costs add up. Our TRT cost guide has a line-by-line breakdown.
- What happens if my hematocrit or PSA goes up? A good answer mentions pausing or adjusting treatment and, when needed, referral.
- How do you handle fertility? If you might want children, the clinic should discuss this before you start.
- Can I get copies of my results and prescription? You should own your records, especially if you travel or move.
Red flags
Walk away, or at least get a second opinion, if you see any of these:
- Oral tablets or vials sold without a prescription. Sellers on social media, online marketplaces, messaging apps or gym noticeboards that sell "TRT" vials or oral tablets without a doctor are not offering TRT. They are selling unregistered steroids, often with fake FDA badges. Read TRT vs steroids for why this matters.
- No blood test before treatment. Or a single test taken at any time of day.
- Promises of muscle, fat loss or performance. TRT restores a deficient level to the normal range. It is not a physique programme.
- No monitoring plan. Treatment without repeat labs is not safe treatment.
- Pressure to pay for long packages upfront before you have even seen your results.
- Products you cannot verify. If the product name, registration number or manufacturer does not appear on the FDA portal, do not inject it.
- Doctors you cannot identify. No name, no licence number, no clinic address.
We never link to grey-market sellers, and we never will. If a site combines "TRT" with oral compounds, cut-rate vials or "no prescription needed", treat it as a steroid shop, whatever its domain name says.
What to do next
If you have not been tested yet, start there. Book two early-morning total testosterone tests at a lab near you, then take the results to a doctor. If you already have results or a diagnosis, choose a provider using the questions above and bring your records to the first visit.
If you are a foreign resident or retiree continuing treatment from abroad, our guide for expats and retirees covers what changes when you move here.
